Day 1: Huaraz - Llanganuco Lake:
After breakfast in the Hotel we'll aboard the bus to go along the Callejón de Huaylas in the north side of Huaraz. Passing different traditional Andean towns, first Carhuas (2,650 m), where we will enjoy Carhuas' native products, then we will continue with our travel to the next town of Yungay, this city was buried by an Avalanche that fell down from Huascaran Mountain in 1972, the the New Yungay (2,500 m), from here we have to start going up to the Llanganuco Valley, for the entrance to the Llanganuco Valley we will register in the National Parks Control, here passengers will start hiking up, along the Llanganuco Valley a nice trail called Maria Josefa, then after one ahour and half walk we will arrive to Llanganuco lakes we will have lunch, then continue walking to the next lake and we will set our camping in the top of the second lake, Yuraccorral, 3,863 m.a.s.l.
Day 2: Llanganuco Lake - Portachuelo Pass - Vaqueria:
After the breakfast in the camp site we will continue hiking up to Portachuelo pass (4,767 m). If there is no clouds we will appreciate impressionant views of Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Pisco and Huandoy mountains, among others, from here we will go down along the Morococha valley to our camp place to Vaqueria (3,600 m aprox.) and overnight camping
Day 3: Vaqueria - Paria:
Today we will start our trekking, first we will make a short walk down and start going up by the Huaripampa valley, we will have most beautiful walking by the Andean small villages and full of pastures, we will arrive to the Paria small ravine where we will camp (3,800 m).
Day 4: Paria - Taullipampa:
Today we will go up to the pass of Punta Union (4,750 m) from here we will have impressive views of the mountains and landscapes, matching its natural mountain colours in the blue sky, the white mountains, Dark green hills, turquoise lakes, feeling the Andean fresh air at this altitude, from a short stop we will continue now going down until our camping place of Taullipampa (4,250 m) for overnight camping
Day 5: Taullipampa - Llamacorral:
Today we will have easy walking down almost flat area, but after to start walking flat area we will go a short path to the base camp of Alpamayo, 'cause we can't miss to enjoy the world's most beautiful mountain, then we will continue walking down passing by the small lakes named Jatun cocha and Ichic cocha, in a few hours we will get to our camp place of Llamacorral at (3,760 m) for overnight camping
Day 6:. Llamacorral - Cashapampa - Huaraz:
From here we will start our last day trekking, going down by the beautiful valley full of plants, as we get close to the town of Cashapampa the valley will be narrow, and we will finish our trekking for about midday, so we will go to the hot springs for about 30 minutes walking to have relax after 4 days trek, from here we will aboard our bus to Huaraz, to our hotel, arriving at 6 or 7pm.

What to Bring with You:

Rain jacket or poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Huaraz for a few dollars)
Strong, comfortable hiking shoes
One complete change of clothing (you can afford to carry more changes of clothing if you hire a personal porters, see options below)
Sweater and jacket (something warm)
Water bottle, ideally non disposable canteen (boiled drinking water will be provided)
Torch / Flashlight and batteries
Hat or cap to protect you from the sun. Also sun block (sun protection cream)
Insect repellent, absolutely the most important item for this hike is bug spray. Anything with a lot of DEET with do the job, anything less is simply not sufficient. Bug spray MUST be bought in Huaraz, as it cannot be found even in neighboring towns.
Toiletries, towel and toilet paper
Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries, plus cash in Soles (Peruvian currency) and U$S
Swimsuit (if you plan on visiting the hot springs at Hunacarhuaz after the trek)
You also need to bring a copy of your passport on the trail
