Salar de Uyuni - Bolivia
Just came back from my Bolivia vacation and I absolutely loved it!..
While the ruins of Tiwanaku are a must-see for anyone interested in archaeology (and not far from La Paz either), Salar de Uyuni is out of this world...surreal!
This huge salt flat is simply astonishing. Don't forget to visit Isla de los Pescadores, its massive cacti are found by the thousands and it has archaeological ruins as well.
