Day 1: Huaraz - Canrey Chico - Tzacracancha:
After our breakfast in the Hotel, we’ll leave Huaraz in the south side, after 20 minutes bus ride we will arrive to Canrey Chico (3,350 m), where we will meet our mountain staff and donkeys llamas. From here we will start our trekking quite easy going up enjoying the landscapes and white mountain peaks. Early we will arrive to our camp place Tzacracancha (3,800 m) we will stop close to Andean huts sheep fields for overnight camping
Day 2: Tzacracancha - Yanashallash pass - Shonkoruri:
Today we have to pass the highest point in this route, so we have to leave early to get the pass on time. Once we arrived to the Yanashallash pass (4,700 m.a.s.l). We will have a nice view to the west and east side mountain ranges, this day we'll enjoy hiking in the pre-Inka trail stone paved, then we will start zigzag path to go down to Shonkoruri for overnight camping at (3,850 m. Once we arrive to the camping place, kids will come asking for sweets or just saying hello, is not recommendable to give so much sweets to them.
Day 3: Shonkoruri - Chavin - Huaraz:
Early in the morning after our Andean breakfast we will start our trekking down hill passing by Andean straw huts and humble villages in each steep kids will ask us for sweets, and saying hello, confusing Americans with Europeans calling "Gringos" to everybody. You will hear saying "Gringo, regalame caramelos!" (Gringo, give me sweets!) it’s traditional and they feel friendly receiving a candy from Gringo’s hands. So finally we will have arrived to Chavin de Huantar. Immediately we will visit the ruins, and then we will visit the city that’s next to the ruins too. Then drive back to Huaraz passing the highest point of Cahish Tunel at (4,450 m). arriving to Huaraz at 8pm aprox. to the hotel

Horses and Donkeys days (for equipment and personal items, actually your main heavy stuff, will be carried by the horses, it means you only will carry a small day bag, day by day, we included 01 emergency horse to ride on
Bus returning from Pitec to Huaraz city and transfer to your hotel

What to Bring with You:
Backpack,
Sleeping bag
Rain jacket or poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Huaraz for a few dollars)
Strong, comfortable hiking shoes
One complete change of clothing (you can afford to carry more changes of clothing if you hire a personal porters, see options below)
Sweater and jacket (something warm)
Water bottle, ideally non disposable canteen (boiled drinking water will be provided)
Torch / Flashlight and batteries
Hat or cap to protect you from the sun. Also sun block (sun protection cream)
Insect repellent, absolutely the most important item for this hike is bug spray. Anything with a lot of DEET with do the job, anything less is simply not sufficient. Bug spray MUST be bought in Huaraz, as it cannot be found even in neighboring towns.
Toiletries, towel and toilet paper
Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries, plus cash in Soles (Peruvian currency) and U$S
Swimsuit (if you plan on visiting the hot springs at Hunacarhuaz after the trek)
You also need to bring a copy of your passport on the trail
