My Wonderful Experiences in Brazil:
I am a girl from Sydney, Australia and I recently went on holiday in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
I had always wanted to go to Brazil so earlier this year I decided that I was going to make that dream come true. I started a savings account and would deposit money into it every week. I also did research on holiday packages and cheap international flights. Finally, I had saved up enough money to go on holiday.
As I sat on the airplane, I began to think about all of the fun experiences that I would have in Brazil. When I got off the plane, the first thing I did was call a taxi. I took the taxi to my hotel and checked in. I stayed at the Casa Beleza, which is one of the best hotels in Rio de Janeiro. The flight from Sydney to Rio de Janeiro was long so I decided to rest up a bit. A couple hours later, I began to get hungry so I decided to go out and get some fine cuisine.
I decided to have lunch at the Marius because a friend of mine told me that it was one of the best steakhouses in the world. I enjoyed a nice, grilled tenderloin steak with a fresh salad. My friend was right because meal was cooked to perfection.
My next stop was Copacabana Beach, which is known for being one of the best beaches in the world.
I absolutely love the beach because it is so peaceful and relaxing.
I walked along the beach and forgot about all cares of the world. I stayed there for about two hours before I decided it was time to go see more of what Rio De Janeiro had to offer.
After leaving Copacabana Beach, I went to the Museu Historico Nacional. I enjoyed seeing the artifacts, exhibits and learning about Brasil's history. The Museu Historico Nacional has a lot of history behind it.
It was first established in 1762 as a military prison. It was converted into a museum hundreds of years later to celebrate Brazil's independence from Portugal. It is truly amazing how much one can learn from going to a museum.
After I left the Museu Historico Nacional, I looked at my watch and saw that it was 6:00 P.M. It was dinner time and I had a craving for seafood.
I decided to have dinner at the Satyricon, which is known as one of the best seafood restaurants in Brazil.
I enjoyed another delicious meal with a glass of wine. Satyricon not only has some of the best seafood, but it also has some of the best wine.
After I finished my meal, I decided that it was time to go back to my hotel. I went out to the garden and sat for awhile.
While I was sitting, I was thinking about how wonderful my day had been. I had enjoyed great food, learned a lot about Brazil and got to relax on the beach.
