Tren de las Nubes: La Polvorilla Viaduct

I was 22 and left Antofagasta, Chile to Salta, Argentina. It was 1972.
I can not erase the memories.

Jovem com 22 anos , deixei Anfagasta com direcao a Salta. Em 1972.

Nunca conegui apagar da memoria, as emocoes e fechando os olhos posso ver cada pedaco do caminho percorrido.

Tren de las nubes (Train of the clouds)is one of the world's highest railways, reaching a height of 4,200 meters above sea level.

Departing from Belgrano train station, Salta, Argentina, it takes its name due to the fact that clouds can often be seen under the bridges and around the slopes.

The actual train ride covers 434km (round trip) in about sixteen hours, making it one of the top tourist attractions in Argentina by a growing number of international visitors.
