Day 1: Huaraz - Cashapampa - Llamacorral:
We will leave Huaraz around 7 am, so breakfast will be at 6am, passengers will be transferred to the trail head Cashapampa 2900masl, where we will meet our donkey drivers, then we will start hiking by narrow valley, we will go up for about 2 hours, then we will have lunch down the tree’s shadow, then we will start going up moderate almost flat area to the first camp Place Llamacorral at 3800masl. Overnight camping
Day 2: Llamacorral - Taullipampa :
Today we will hike along the valley moderate enjoying the beautiful lakes called Ichicocha and Jatuncocha, turquoise lakes, the we will arrive to nice spot where will have lunch at the place called Quisuar, then after it we will go up to the Alpamayo south base camp, then after to take pictures we will return short walk then continue for few hours to the next camp place called Taullipampa camping at 4200masl
Day 3: Taullipampa - Tuctupampa:
Early in the morning after the Andean breakfast we will start hiking to the PuntaUnion Pass at 4750 masl, we will climb zigzag path, then we will get the pass around 11am then after to enjoy nice views we will descent to the nice lake Morococha to have lunch, then after few hours walking we will arrive to the camp place Tuctupampa at 4200masl overnight camping
Day 4: Tuctupampa - Quisuar:
Today we will start climbing to get the Pucaraju pass 4640 masl. We will get there at around 11am, then go down zigzag path nice landscape surrounded by highlands straw and many trees, we will get the Huecroncocha lake to have Lunch in the nice spot. Then after few minutes walking dawn we will get small village called Quisuar, where we will camp in the left side at 3900masl.
Day 5: Quisuar - Jancapampa:
We will start our hiking going up moderate path, enjoying field of sheep, we will get the Tupatupa pass 4360masl easily, then we will go down by the base of the Pucajirca mountain and then we will arrive to the next camp place of Jancapampa 3600masl overnight camping
Day 6: Jancapampa - Huillca:
We will start hiking early to get the pass on time, Yanacon pass 4610, as always we will be surprised by nice different landscapes, after the pass we will go down to the next camp place called Huillca overnight at 4000masl. camping
Day 7: Huillca - Caracara:
Moderate walking first 2 hours to get the Mesapata pass at 4460masl. Then we will walk flat area to the water stream in moyobamba valley to have lunch, then we will continue to the base of the caracara pass where we will camp at 4400masl Caracara
8 Day: Caracara - Jancarurish:
Today first 2 hours will be windy, once we will get the Caracara pass 4830masl we will be surpriced by many white peak mountains, then after to take pictures we will start going down and in the middle of going down we will be faced to Alpamayo in its north face, then we will going down we will arrive to our camp place of Jancarurish at 4200masl overnight facing at Alpamayo’s north face
Day 9: Jancarurish Rest Day:
Today is rest day and we will walk to the Base camp of Alpamayo in north side, from there we will get many pictures of the mountains and we will return to the base camp for overnight at 4200 masl.
Day 10: Jancarurish - Osoruri:
Today we will walk down along the Alpamayo valley until Ruinapampa, where the pre-inkas terraces we will appreciate, from here we will start climbing zigzag path and in the middle of climbing, we will have lunch, then we will get the Ichicvientona pass 4770masl, then after short rest and take pictures we will descent for a few minutes to the camp place of Osoruri and overnight at 4650masl
Day 11: Osoruri - Calamina:
After breakfast we will walk up for about one hour to get the Jatunvientona pass 4860 masl, then we will go down a few meters down and we will be surpriced by a nice spot, a beatuful blue lake of Cullicocha in the base of Santa Cruz massif, we will get offshore the lake to have lunch. Then after rest in the lunch time we will continue going down to the camp place of Calamina, from this camp place we will appreciate nice sunset over the Black Mountain in front us. Overnight at 3650masl.camping
Day 12: Calamina - Hulcayan - Huaraz:
Today our last hiking day, we will arrive first to the small village of Hualcayan for about 2 hours walk down where we will find very basic shop, and National Park entrance control to check out, then after few minutes of rest we will aboard our mini bus or bus and come back to Huaraz, we will drive down to the river and arrive to Caraz, transfer direct to Huaraz arriving aropund 4pm direct to Hotel - END OF THE SERVICE !
Transportation by bus to the start of the trail (village of Cashapampa, beginning of the trip)

What to Bring with You:

Rain jacket or poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Huaraz for a few dollars)
Strong, comfortable hiking shoes
One complete change of clothing (you can afford to carry more changes of clothing if you hire a personal porters, see options below)
Sweater and jacket (something warm)
Water bottle, ideally non disposable canteen (boiled drinking water will be provided)
Torch / Flashlight and batteries
Hat or cap to protect you from the sun. Also sun block (sun protection cream)
Insect repellent, absolutely the most important item for this hike is bug spray. Anything with a lot of DEET with do the job, anything less is simply not sufficient. Bug spray MUST be bought in Huaraz, as it cannot be found even in neighboring towns.
Toiletries, towel and toilet paper
Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries, plus cash in Soles (Peruvian currency) and U$S
Swimsuit (if you plan on visiting the hot springs at Hunacarhuaz after the trek)
You also need to bring a copy of your passport on the trail
